Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information — name, email address, company name, and phone number when you create an account or log in.
• Order information — property address, report type, rush preference, uploaded blueprint or source-report files, and any notes you provide when ordering a report.
• Payment information — when you pay online or buy credits, payment is handled entirely by PayPal. We never receive or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC — only the transaction ID and amount are recorded on your order.
• Support requests — messages you send through our contact form, support tickets, or live chat.
• Technical information— standard browser/device information (such as browser type and general region) collected automatically by our hosting provider’s server logs.

• Generate and deliver the roof measurement reports you order.
• Process payments and credit purchases, and maintain your credit balance.
• Send transactional emails — order confirmations, delivery notifications, receipts, and support responses. We do not send marketing email unless you separately opt in.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues with your account or orders.
• Maintain the security and integrity of our platform.

RoofScaleX does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use a small amount of essential browser storage to make the site work:

• Login sessions— when you log in, Supabase (our authentication provider) stores a session token in your browser’s local storage so you stay logged in between visits. This is strictly necessary for the dashboard and order history to work and cannot be disabled while remaining logged in.
• Checkout— when you pay with PayPal, PayPal’s own script may set cookies in your browser for fraud prevention and to process your payment. This happens on PayPal’s domain and is governed by PayPal’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Because this storage is strictly necessary for login and checkout to function, we do not show a cookie-consent popup for it — but you can clear it at any time by logging out or clearing your browser’s site data.

We share the minimum information necessary with the following providers to operate RoofScaleX:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
• PayPal — processes all card and PayPal payments.
• EmailJS — delivers transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, support replies).

Each provider is contractually limited to using your data solely to provide their service to us — none of them are permitted to sell your information or use it for their own advertising.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We retain order and account records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. If you request deletion (see below), we remove your personal information except where we’re required to retain limited records (such as payment transaction records) for legal purposes.

You can, at any time, request to:

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate account information.
• Delete your account and associated personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@roofscalex.com from your account’s registered email address. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Your data is stored with Supabase behind row-level security policies that restrict access to only your own records (or our admin team, where necessary to fulfill your order). All traffic to and from RoofScaleX is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/SSL.

RoofScaleX is a business-to-business service intended for contractors, adjusters, and property managers. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of RoofScaleX after a change means you accept the updated policy.
